Why do we live ?
If we say that the only answer we know is that “we live because we have an instinct to live”, though a simple answer, is something not at all acceptable for an emotional, thinking human being.
For him life is too complex, and needs an explanation. He continuously searches for an answer.
From the days of ‘hunting’ and ‘gatherer’ to the present day of the ‘labeled’ humans like a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Communist, Socialist, Democrat, Liberal etc. while searching for an answer activity of the human is same to create ‘safety, comfort for self’ to fulfill the instinct to live. Attempt has been made in the enclosed chapters to narrate some examples of human activity in search of the answer.
Whether it is then or now, we know the answers for ‘what and how of things’ but we still do not know the answer for ‘the intention or why of things’. We continue to live with a hope of getting an answer.
